Exercising Your CCPA Rights
If you are a California resident, you are entitled to specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which include the ability to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. Additionally, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, if applicable. To exercise your rights, please follow the instructions outlined below:

You may contact us at compliance@thedatagroup.com for general questions; however, privacy requests cannot be processed by email. To submit a verifiable privacy request under the CCPA or other state privacy laws, you must use our Consumer Privacy Request Form below. This ensures secure identity verification, proper logging, and compliant processing of your request. Requests sent to the compliance@thedatagroup.com will receive an automated reply directing you to the online form.
To protect your personal information and prevent unauthorized access, we may ask for additional verification before processing your request. This may include:
- Requesting additional information, such as a government-issued ID or other identifying documents
- Verifying details provided in your request against our records.
Under the CCPA, we are required to acknowledge and respond to your request within 45 days of receiving it. If we need more time, we will inform you and may extend the response period by up to another 45 days.
We will retain the information you submit during the verification process only for as long as necessary to process your request and comply with applicable legal obligations. Once the request is processed, your data will be deleted from our systems in compliance with CCPA guidelines.
If you are submitting a request on behalf of another person, you must provide documentation showing you are authorized to act on their behalf, such as a power of attorney or a signed authorization letter.
