California Privacy Rights

California residents may have data subject rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We will not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

The Data Group does not maintain its own consumer database or retain client-provided consumer lists. We process data on behalf of clients and maintain a master suppression file to help ensure that individuals who have opted out are excluded from future data services we provide.

Please be advised that we do not maintain consumer databases or actively compile the personal data of consumers. As a result, we are unable to process data subject requests seeking access to personal data, modification to personal data, or deletion of personal data.

How to Submit an Opt Out Request

You may submit a suppression request using the form below or by emailing compliance@thedatagroup.com. We will process your request once we have enough to identify you for suppression. If you have already contacted us by email, you do not need to also complete the form.

To help us make an accurate match, please provide your first and last name, street address, five-digit ZIP code, and email address can help us make an accurate match. We will not ask for more information beyond what is reasonably necessary to process your opt-out request. If the information you provided is insufficient, we may contact you for additional details.

Adding information to our suppression file does not necessarily mean we previously maintained a record about the individual or that records held by other organizations have been deleted.

California Data Broker Requests

California residents may also use the state’s Delete Request and Opt-out Platform (DROP) to ask registered data brokers to delete, and not sell, their personal information: https://privacy.ca.gov/DROP/.
